1. License Grant

Spreadit grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on a device that you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with this Agreement and all applicable laws and regulations.

 

2. The Spreadit Promise

 

At Spreadit, we are committed to ethical data practices and protecting your privacy.

 

This promise is foundational to how we design and operate:

 

- No Misuse of Personal Information: Your data is never used or shared without your explicit consent.

 

- Transparent Data Collection: We inform you clearly about what data we collect and why.

 

- No Marketing Algorithms: Your feed is driven by your interests, not advertisers.

 

- Ethical by Design: Our systems are built to avoid manipulation and to prioritize well-being.

 

- Commitment to Doing the Right Thing: Every decision we make centers around privacy, transparency, and user care.

 

3. Restrictions

 

You may not:

- Copy, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the App.

 

- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code from the App.

 

- Sell, rent, sublicense, or otherwise commercialize the App or its contents.

 

- Use the App for unlawful, harmful, misleading, or abusive activities.

 

- Interfere with the integrity, security, or operation of the App or its services.

 

4. User-Generated Content

 

The App allows users to upload and share content including text, images, video, and audio ("User Content").

 

You retain ownership of your User Content, but by submitting it through the App, you grant Spreadit a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and reproduce such content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the platform.

 

You are responsible for your content. Spreadit may remove content that violates applicable laws, our Community Guidelines, or this Agreement.

 

Users can block other users and report inappropriate content through in-app moderation tools. We take content moderation seriously and act promptly upon valid reports.

 

5. User Conduct

 

You agree not to:

 

- Violate any applicable law or regulation.

 

- Post or distribute content that is illegal, offensive, harmful, deceptive, or infringes on the rights of others.

 

- Impersonate any individual or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.

 

- Use the App to harass, abuse, stalk, or harm another individual.

 

- Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code.

 

6. Privacy and Data Use

 

Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy, which details what personal information we collect, how it is used, and your rights as a user.

 

Key principles include:

 

- No sale of personal data.

 

- No behavioral advertising or data tracking for monetization.

 

- Full transparency regarding data access and deletion.

 

We follow industry best practices to secure user data and only retain it for as long as legally or operationally necessary.

 

7. Updates and Modifications

 

Spreadit may update the App to improve performance, add features, address bugs, or comply with legal requirements.

 

You may be required to install updates to continue using the App.

 

We reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time.

 

Material changes will be communicated through the App or via email.

 

Continued use after an update constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

 

8. Termination

 

This Agreement remains in effect until terminated by you. You may terminate it at any time by deleting your account through the App’s settings.

 

Account deletion results in automatic termination of this Agreement, revoking all rights granted herein.

 

Upon account deletion:

 

- Your access to the App and its features will cease.

 

- Any personal data will be handled per our Privacy Policy, including deletion timelines.

 

- Spreadit will not retain access to your content unless required by law or for specific, documented legal purposes.

 

Spreadit does not terminate accounts arbitrarily. We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access only in cases involving illegal activity, platform abuse, or violation of Community Guidelines.

 

9. Disclaimers

 

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

 

Spreadit disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

 

We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with all devices or systems.

 

10. Limitation of Liability

 

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spreadit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of or inability to use the App.

 

11. Governing LawThis Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

 

Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

 

12. Platform Requirements.

Apple App Store

 

a. This Agreement is between you and Spreadit Inc., not Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. If the App fails to comply with any warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if applicable). Apple has no other warranty obligation.You acknowledge that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement and may enforce this Agreement against you as a third-party beneficiary.

 

b. Google Play Store

 

This Agreement is between you and Spreadit Inc., not Google LLC.

 

Google is not responsible for the App, its performance, or the content within. Google has no obligation to provide support services for the App. You agree to comply with any applicable Google Play Store Terms of Service when using the App.
